Wednesday’s Woe

“But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked;  judgment and justice have taken hold of you” (Job 36:17) (NIV)

Have you noticed News reports lately? Wildfires burning out of control in Colorado. Flooding in areas not commonly flooded. Drought in the Mid-West affecting crops and future supplies. Out-of-control crime in small towns as well as large cities. Unrest in the youth. Unheard of Heart Attacks in both young and old. Ice caps melting. Famine for both man and beast. Extreme heat or unexplained weather patterns are reported more than normal.

“What’s this world coming to?” you may ask. Malevolence, wickedness, evil intentions, rape, murder, kidnapping, theft, abuse to both animal and human is unprecedented in our current generation. People are running here and there for answers, yet not looking to God for their redemption. But remember, Judgment Day is coming.

While Rome is burning…

God continues to warn the world, yet world has turned a blind eye to His truth.

“‘If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us’” (2 Chronicles 20:9) (NIV)
