Friday Fun

Since I listen to O’Reilly

I’m ready to opine.

Just like my husband tells me

“He’ll understand my whine”.

“So stop your bloviating

And don’t be so morose.

Because you’re a rapscallion,

No need to be so gross.

And don’t be such a blooter

Please, please make no mistake.

This world is full of popinjays.

It’s not a piece of cake.

And never trust a misanthrope

without a second thought.

But if you’re a Pecksniffian

You’d better not get caught.”

So listen to your mentor

He cannot tell you wrong.

He cares about your future

And wants you to belong.

You know his words are pithy.

Don’t worry ‘cause they’re true.

He cares for you so much

That he’s looking out for you.”
