RED TO BLUE

“We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:6) (NIV)

The poem below was written the day after Democrat Candidate Obama was selected for President, 2008. I pray the outcome for 2012 will be very different.

RED TO BLUE

The people have spoken.

It’s all very clear.

The liberals have won

Yet left some in fear

`

For it’s not good luck

Nor a twist of fate

That ignorance spoke

And men took the bait.

~

They said what they meant.

You do what they say.

But here’s a hard fact.

Truth won’t go away.

~

From mountains to plains

To oceans in view

God’s nation once red

Today has turned blue
