The Importance of Me

Do I really care what Katy Perry wore at a recent Washington event?

Am I more concerned about what others think of me?

Is my heart in the right place when I offer condolences to those surviving grief?

Am I truly committed to helping others in need?

Are the abortion rights of her mother in this baby’s best interest?

These questions, and more, can only be answered by ourselves.

But, the most important question is this: Is my heart right with God?

If so, everything else in my world will fall into place as intended.

If not, heaven help us all.

“God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us…” (Psalms 67:1)
